Section Mode Unique Retail Brand Identity & Interior Design

Owned by Dynamo, one of Turkey’s leading textile firms, Section Mode Unique is a fashion store that stocks pieces by the renowned fashion designer Hakan Yıldırım. I-AM were commissioned to design the branding and architecture of the store and create a distinctive retail experience.

The Architectural Design Principles

One of the main brand and architectural design principles was to breathe new life into the space with refined detailing, whilst also maintaining the historic character of the building and the surrounding neighbourhood. We generated a brand name and logo that reflected the minimal approach taken by Hakan Yıldırım when designing the collection and his geometric influences. A product-focused approach was chosen in order to maximise the showcasing of the range within the tight confines of the space.

Conveying The Brand’s Essence

The result of I-AM’s integrated design approach is a space that effectively conveys the essence of the brand and its products. It has resonated very positively with customers and staff and is being applied to further Section Mode Unique branches.
