We would like to thank everyone who came to our Two Worlds Collide event last week, which we hosted here at I-AM London, in collaboration with food development consultants Egg Soldiers.
Your presence gave us joy and inspiration and made us feel loved and valued.
Making the most of what an in-real-life occasion can offer, we shared extraordinary food, laughter and conversation. To fire the evening with inspiration, we started by looking at the role of both food and experience design in discussing trends, examples and ideas that explored a new vision for the food & beverage world:
  • Can the apparently opposite worlds of “affordability” and “extravagance” co-exist?
  • With pressure on spending power, affordability is high on many people’s agendas.
  • Yet many of us have come to expect high standards, everyday treats and indulgence.
  • Does this create new opportunities for what ‘extravagance’ could mean – and the value it can bring to daily lives?
