Beginning with a “financial naked session” involving a glass of wine and a box of tissues as you go through an intense review of your finances. You’ll then be assigned a ‘trainer’ and a ‘finance fitness plan’ based on your financial goals.

Diageo are investing £150m in enhancing its overall visitor experiences, focusing on a Johnnie Walker tourist attraction in Edinburgh, set to open in 2020. Four distilleries, CardhuCaol IlaClynelish and Glenkinchie will be linked to the Edinburgh centre, representing the “four corners of Scotland” and the Johnnie Walker blend. Each room will be devoted to one distillery bringing to life its characteristics and showcasing it’s story.

Visitors will be able to experience the whisky making process, through a
multi-sensorial activation. Topped with a trip to the onsite bar, offering drams and tasting sessions. The immersive space will also include a restaurant and an area that will exhibit artefacts that reflect the distillery’s historic ties with the blend; while another room will offer guests a Johnnie Walker workshop.

Somnai

Somnai, is the latest immersive VR experience happening in London. Ever wondered how much control you actually had whilst dreaming? Taking place in a big warehouse in Clerkenwell and created by Dotdotdot, it promises the opportunity to discover the concept of ‘lucid dreaming’ by using Virtual Reality technology.

A lot of the details have been kept under wraps, but here’s insider information from the I-AM’ians that have gone! First you’ll be given a wristband with your ‘patient ID’ and a Fitbit that monitors your heart-rate. Afterwards, the ‘medical staff’ will scan your face and give you a headset. The staff will ask you about your nightmares, dreams and fears as you enter the realm of VR. I-AM’ians describe it as unlike any other immersive experience yet, multi-sensorial not just visual. The dreaming ends when you reach the bar, where you will enjoy an enhanced cocktail experience.
