Sedef earned her graduate degree from Bosphorus University Department of Sociology. She started her professional career as a project manager at Capitol Public Relations, now Ogilvy Public Relations, then moved to Medina Turgul DDB advertising agency where for four years she led communication strategies and programs for global and national brands.
In 1999 Sedef steered her career to work for the telecommunications industry, namely Turkcell, the industry leader and innovator. In the next 8 years, she’s gained vast experience in retail design, sales campaigns, sales team education and customer experience points of sale – concepts that were applied nationwide in multiple outlets. After Turkcell, Sedef joined Smile, helping the fast-growing telecom start-up to enhance its sales channel while developing a robust franchise organisational infrastructure, ranging from implementation of corporate identity architecture, management of the rollout process and capital expenditure as well as trade marketing and merchandising teams throughout the country. Moving to Avea as Trade Marketing Director, she’s taken wider responsibilities in Customer Experience Management while adding new professional skills with UX oriented intranet projects.
Since 2011, Sedef has been involved in leading roles in customer-oriented projects for brands across various industries. Created the business models within the ecosystem of co-partners, producers, and designers throughout the investment process, thus ensuring its commercial success as well as the sustainability of the new customer experience design. Generated procurement processes of construction and production of roll-out phase, conducting the planning of providing necessary materials, human resources and services.
