To transform the historical building into a vibrant hotel experience that reflects the local creative community.

Beyoğlu is a place where people from various ethnic backgrounds have been able to coexist with their cultures, influencing and blending with each other, leading to a more integrated social life. This historical development is evident in every street and corner, where we encounter a multi-layered structure. Casa Foscolo, a historical building located in the heart of Beyoğlu, required not only a comprehensive restoration but also a modern reinvention while preserving its cultural significance. The challenge was to integrate the building's layered history with a modern approach, creating a branded space that would appeal to guests, locals, and visitors alike. The goal was to reflect the unique cultural essence of Beyoğlu while establishing a contemporary and inspiring brand experience.

Heritage Reunited With People

Crafting timeless relevance by preserving Casa Foscolo’s historical integrity while weaving in modern hotel design elements creates a dialogue between the past and present. Inspired by the "Dört Yol Bölgesi", a historic gathering spot, the design reflects the convergence of past and present, tradition and modernity. Bold visuals, intersecting lines, and textured layers bring depth to the building’s narrative, evoking a sense of discovery in every corner.

A Curated Sensory Hotel Design Experience

We designed an immersive hotel experience design that blend architecture, interior design, and artistic influences engages guests in a multi-sensory journey, reflecting the cultural vibrancy of Beyoğlu. Every aspect of the hotel, from the textures and colours to the curated art displays, is designed to evoke emotions and memories, ensuring that each stay is not just comfortable but also profoundly enriching.
